Dear Leaders and Children of Mary,
We have a wonderful opportunity to gather as connected to Schoenstatt and
as leaders in our groups and communities on Friday, November 4th (scroll to the 2nd page of the attached flyer for more details)
Sister Deanne Niehaus from the Schoenstatt International Shrine in Waukesha, WI will be visiting our area. Normally in October there is a National Schoenstatt Leader’s convention in Waukesha WI and three or four of us attend yearly. However, as the price of travel has increased, it was thought that this year we should have local leaders gatherings.
This idea also makes it possible for more of the leaders in our various groups to come together and see what Schoenstatt has to offer at the global, national and local levels, in connection to the currents of our modern times. i.e What does Schoenstatt have to offer to our national Catholic emphasis on Eucharistic Revival?
At a local gathering we can also hear what the leaders have to say about the needs of Schoenstatt in our area and how we can address these concerns. i.e. How can we make Schoenstatt more widely known, so that more may know of the graces available at our wayside shrine and in this spirituality. or…?
Addressing Schoenstatt at the local level, we will ponder the new 2022/2023 national motto of Sursum Corda Lift Up Your Hearts to see if we would like to add another phrase to this umbrella motto that expresses our strivings here in Indiana.
Schoenstatt leaders, local leaders, past board members, etc have been invited and we hope that you will consider attending. Your input is valuable.
The Holy Spirit and Blessed Mother will be in charge of what inspirations and initiatives come from this meeting.
With joy in our Covenant,
Schoenstatt of IN Board
